As I am quick to grumble when things aren't going well it seems only fair to nip in today with a little bit of good news. First, the abscess is doing very well. On Monday the nurse put an Iodine dressing on to start drying it up and promoting the healing, and the difference that's made in only 48 hrs is amazing. At this rate it could have closed up by the weekend.
On the blood pressure problem, the tablets have already taken effect and the diastolic (lower) figure has dropped from 95 to 76. Top that with a body temperature well clear of the dreaded 37.5 panic button all seems well. Still a bit weary, but I can put up with that.
So, no moaning today - for a change!
